“For there came the sound of running water
And the smell of sulphur did hang in the evening air,
Mrs. Onion was stirring the cauldron
In which she was cooking Rupert the Bear...”
(loosely adapted from Shakespeare)
Ben Shakespeare

Hello dear tMx reader once more unto the beach,

Welcome to the dusty cobweb-bedecked corner of tEe-EM-eX, in which my poetry languishes, far from the maddening crowd and near to insanity. This being the second of my submissions at the invitation of the near-perfect and indubitably finely-turned King Encoule VIII (who even as I write). For any other queries, press the # key...

Herein thou shalt fynd my next collection “stoMacK”, being thirteeen (13) finely-crafted and guilt-edged poems dating from the late 1980’s to the early 1990’s, that again deal with the unicyclical themes of love, loss, alcohol and self-doubt. Once served, you will know if this dish has been a success because you should have black-lipped and black-toothed grins from your diners. I have, as before, attached a thoroughly-researched (and charming to the point of nausea) image to each poem by way of embellishment “Lawk’s-a-mercy me, Percy, you cannot possibly go out looking like that! What will the Williamson’s think?”

+ PLUSH + is now open at 42 Norman Road, St Leonards On Sea, East Sussex TN38 OEJ (T) 01424 428927 selling art/ideas and anarchy.

And so it only remains for me to say.
